Current or recent research projects in which I am involved :
- Within the project led by Didier Casane on the study of the demography of Astyanax mexicanus (Mexican cavefish), I identify each fish by microsatellite locus analysis, and compare them with the genotypes obtained during the different missions to evaluate the recapture rate in order to determine population size (publication n°9).
- I took part in a study of the retinoic acid metabolism signalling pathway and the expression pattern of the genes involved, in the lesser spotted dogfish (Scyliorhinus canicula). Project led by Véronique Borday-Birraux (publication n°11)
- I am collaborating with Laure Kaiser-Arnauld, Florence Mougel and Samuel Gornard of the Evolution and Ecology division on a project to describe the kinetics of the immune response of a Sesamia nonagrioides caterpillar, responsible for damage to maize, to the parasitoid wasp Cotesia typhae..
- I study the asymmetry of the analia genitalia of Drosophila pachea, using a gene expression approach, in collaboration with Michael LANG
