Nicolas Pollet (POLYGNOME) published in collaboration with colleagues an article reporting the synchrotron analysis of a mummified salamander dating from Eocene. This analysis allowed a phylogenetic analysis of the mummy: the fossil belongs to the pseudosaurian caudates.To read the article.

Paul-André Calatayud’s (DEEIT) team published an article in collaboration with scientists from ICIPE center which results open avenues on effects  of climate change on insect pest populations in east Africa. This article was the subject of a short publication on INEE web site.

Speciation is a rare phenomenon.
