In this context, my research works are linked to the understanding of host recognition and acceptance mechanisms by Lepidoptera stemborers and associated parasitoids (biochemical, physiological and molecular aspects). I am developing biological control programmes not only against Lepidoptera stemborers in Africa but also in France. Recently, I have undertaken studies on the impact of the introduction of a new invasive maize pest, <em>Spodoptera frugiperda<\/em> or \u00ab\u00a0fall armyworm\u00a0\u00bb in Africa since 2016, on a community of other pre-existing lepidopteran maize stem borer pests and their associated parasitoids used as biological control agents. More recently and in collaboration with CIMMYT, studies on the resistance mechanisms in African of maize germplasm to <em>S. frugiperda<\/em> have been initiated in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><span
